Nowadays, there are a lot of rising camping desire roaming among youngsters and grown ups due to pandemic crisis. Everyone wants to go outside, not staying in home surrounded by walls while a serious virus reign over the world. Not preferring the crowded areas and shopping malls, we want to go out. Camping seems to be a perfect choice for doing this securely, not entangling with the others whom we don’t know whether they are infected or not. But, how much we know about outdoor life? What are we really going to see? If we don’t know about it apart from some social media photos that attracts us?

Despite camping desire, most of campers’ first experience

can be a nightmare, making them swear not to camp out again. An instant decrease of accustomed comfort can cause nausea, blinding to see the real beauty of touching nature. You can feel that life is actually not for you, different from what it seemed from the screen. The easiness for reaching clean water in home doesn’t feature in the woods even if you stay near a river. It can became a torture to fetch some, after many times. And, to relax your bladder, what do you think you are going to do? There will be no loo with a towel hanging from a rail. Cold breath of a gale will slap your naked butt, with a sudden anxiety as if you are being watched. No walls will be there to give some privacy. Maybe a sheet to hide. If you can be brave enough to leave campground behind to…

However,

it isn’t that much difficulty for us to fear. Once you yield the nature, putting your high manner aside, you become stripped off all of your burdens. You realize that you are just a thing in this endless universe. You were born and you will die. The rest is meaningless. Being dirty, feeling uneasy will abandon you. Enjoying the moment will find you instead. The sound of rain drops on your tent will fill your ears and the concern as to whether the tent might endure the rain your mind. It will gradually stop and the sun break through, allowing you to start a fire to prepare a tea against rainbow. Dark brown wet soil will smell like old days, that always bring to your memory good vibes. You will think that you haven’t lived before.

Up to the moment

when you hear just the voice of nature, not the city, not the traffic, not the meaningless rush. Over your camp fire, roasting a potato will be the most delicious meal you have ever eaten especially when you are famished at the end of the day. Hearing some noises, you will find yourself considering as to how much those foxes can be curious to come near your tent, till you see in the morning that your strings gnawed. Those friends’ curiosity concerning who the new clients of nature are will not piss you off. You will understand they have right to know as a landlord.

In the end,

when you step into your home coming back from your last camping, you will wonder when you will be able to camp again and where you can go to or what else can you cook next time. You will become a strider, wanderer who carries his home on his back along with his previous experiences gained over years. The experiences that will be the cause of your wisdom, strength or calmness in tough times. Camping desire will help you to turn into a better one, completely different from than you used to be.
